Maria & Michael ~ St. Ann Catholic Church & The Kravis Center

Our New Year continues with another fabulous wedding in Palm Beach on January 3, 2009 with Maria & Michael. Our day with this wonderful Bride & Groom started with a romantic ceremony at St. Ann Catholic Church . With gorgeous floral arrangements & bouquets provided by Dalsimer, this was one exquisite wedding.

From there, the festivities continued at the beautiful & cultural surroundings of The Kravis Center, where The Breakers Palm Beach provided not only a delectable catering menu, but also an exquisite cake that was scrumptous!

We would like to extend a special thanks to Munoz Photography for providing such amazing coverage & service to Maria & Michael, with their creative touch. They are always a pleasure to work with!

Meredith & Jeff ~ Fisher Island

Okay, so I'm a little late for posting so far this year, but it sure has been a busy one so far!

We started off the first weekend of a fresh New Year with an amazing wedding for a destination couple! Meredith & Jeff came to us from the friendly state of North Carolina to enjoy our tropical paradise for their wedding. Starting off their destination wedding weekend, the Bride & Groom hosted an intimate rehearsal dinner at the world renound Forge Restaurant in Miami, and the festivities continued well into the weekend.

The following day, with its breathtaking backdrop, Fisher Island provided for a luxurious yet intimate setting for 200 of their closest family & friends. Opting for our Three Camera HD coverage, Meredith & Jeff will receive the ultimate collection of memories in our Artistic editing style. Special thanks to Brad at BLoved Photography for his creative eye & being so great to work with on such a wonderful day. While Arts Flowers provided elegant decor, Voltage Brothers Band electrified the night & kept guests dancing well into the late hours.

Meredith & Jeff's destination wedding is certainly one of an unforgettable weekend! Thanks for inviting us!

Sari & Michael ~ Ritz-Carlton Ft. Lauderdale

Another fabulous event weekend has come and gone. This week's highlight is the wedding of Sari and Michael at the luxurious Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale. Although they currently live in out in sunny L.A., Sari and Michael brought their family and friends together in their hometown of South Florida.

Sari's gown from Bellissima Bride in Deerfield Beach, could not have been a more perfect gown for our stunning Bride, and with bouquets and arrangements by Dalsimer, the details could not have been more beautiful.

Photographer Roy Llera, as always, kept the atmosphere of the day fun and energetic. A nostalgic day for Roy, no doubt, who has had the honor of photographing Sari through her years of growing up and now becoming a beautiful Bride.

With its breathtaking view overlooking the ocean, the evening poolside ceremony at the Ritz could not have been a more perfect setting for such a wonderful couple. Under the direction of Senior Manager of Special Events, Laurie Boos, the evening flowed perfectly as the meticulous staff at the Ritz catered every last detail. Guests danced late into the evening with the energetic music of Heatwave band, and enjoyed a delectable custom creation from We Take the Cake. This was a night Sari, Michael, and their guests will soon not forget!

Alaric's Event ~ Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove

Another eventful weekend has flown by, and as usual, we have had many events unfold. One in particular, at the Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, struck us as exceptionally touching. This was not just any typical party, wedding, or mitzvah celebration. We were given the honor of capturing a momentous night for a man named Alaric at a special celebration called "The Next Level" to honor Alaric and encourage him in his life and entering the next phase of accomplishments. Given Alaric's numerous awards, honors, and achievements, his Mother Sharon, proudly arranged for this surprise celebration. In fact, he was not aware of the night's festivities in his honor until he was escorted to the ballroom where 80 of his closest friends and family were waiting anxiously.

As always, the wonderful staff of the Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove provided succulent food and premier attention to every detail. Guests were treated to an evening of dinner and drinks, and even a comedy show, hosted by Ramon Garcia and entertained by Comedian Malik.

Toward the end of the evening, guests danced the night away to the sounds of Exquisite Sound Productions DJ, and savored a delectable cake creation from Ana Paz cakes.

What a touching celebration of love and praise for a Mother to show her son. Well done Sharon!

Jessica & Scott ~ The Biltmore Hotel

What a fabulous wedding for our team! We had the honor of filming Jessica and Scott at one of our most noteable venues, The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. Such an amazing property with an old world charm, while exuding a flair for today's sophisticated style.

Jessica was radiant in her gown from Chic Parisian, and glowed during the romantic ceremony in the Alhambra room. Jessica & Scott's love for each other was truly evident when they kissed for a full minute after their ceremony! While these intimate moments are typically missed by most videographers, our experienced team was right there to capture every minute. When family & friends shortly followed with gestures of love, hugs, & kisses, every wonderful moment of this tender time was captured with our quiet eye & making certain that Jessica & Scott will always be able to relive these moments.

After an energetic introduction of the new Mr. & Mrs. by the Drew T. band, guests danced the night away.... At the end of the evening, everyone's sweet tooth was satisfied with a scrumptous cake provided by one of Miami's most noteable bakers, Ana Paz Cakes.

We would like to commend the creative team of Roy Llera & Associates for their inspiring photography of such a beautiful couple, family, & property. They are true artists of their craft & we love working with them!

Stay tuned... video coming soon!

Welcome to Fall!

Okay, so I know I haven't been the best at keeping up with the blog.... but I've decided to try & make a conscious effort to keep up with things from here on out. It's been a very busy year for our Broadway Team, and in addition to the many Weddings & Events we've captured, we have spent a good portion of the year working diligently to up our game.

In the present day of our lagging economy, and with the hopes of a multitude of changes our new President Elect will hopefully bring next year, we have been making lots of changes here at Broadway in the form of updating our website and creating innovative and technologically advanced showcase pieces.

As Vince and I approach our first Wedding Anniversary (wow how time flies!), I am also reminded of what a magical time it was for us last year at this very time. We are in full swing with many Weddings & Events approaching and are as busy as ever, and each time I speak with an upcoming Bride, I gently remind them to savor this time. As stressful as those pre-wedding moments can be leading up to the big day, trust me.... it WILL go by so quickly that you will wish you could relive those feelings all over again. I guess that's part of why I am so passionate about video; it truly is the only way you will be able to relive the sights, sounds, & laughter of such a momentous occasion.

As the weather changes, I hope everyone looks forward to a wonderful upcoming holiday season, with many hopes for next year as a year of positive change for our country.

Until next time....

Crystal & Vince tie the knot!

What an experience the past few months have been! Vince and I are married now, and our wedding was truly amazing. Being engaged for well over a year, we planned slowely and methodically, thinking we had all of the time in the world to take care of things. Brides, beware: you might THINK you have all the time in the world to plan, but the sooner the better! Time crept up so quickly on us, and before we knew it, the wedding was here!

We were married at the beautiful Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate in Orlando, and spent an amazing weekend with our family and friends from across the country. I even surprised Vince at the end of our ceremony with a memory he will never forget! Being a former University of Florida Drummer himself, I secretly arranged for the UF Drumline to march out as soon as we were prounounced Husband & Wife. The look on his face was priceless, and since none of the guests knew about it either, everyone enjoyed the post-ceremony performance. I highly recommend a surprise for your Bride or Groom that they will always remember such as that. I'm sure we will talk about it for
years to come.

We had a perfect day, surrounded by our family and closest friends, and partied until the music stopped. Our flowers by Raffi at Petal Productions all the way from Miami, made not only our ceremony site even more gorgeous, but I could not have imagined a more spectacular ballroom! We enjoyed food, fun, and most of all, made memories. I'd like to thank each and every person who helped with our wedding in any capacity (which would be quite a few people, and way too many to mention one by one... ha ha). I would also like to extend a special thanks to our friend & colleague Roy Llera for our beautiful photos. He is truly an artist in his craft. The endless planning turned out to be well worth it in the end. We ended up with a wedding day we will never forget.
